I can remember attending family parties this time of year when I was young and there always being a festive punch sitting in this huge, crystal punch bowl in the middle of the buffet table. Red and green shiny decorations, candlelight, and a smorgasbord of delicious treats. A child's absolute dream, of course!
I don't really remember what was in that punch or if it was some type of boozy, adult beverage, all I knew was the holiday spirit was alive. After taking a trip down memory lane, I decided to make an updated version of a non-alcoholic Christmas punch. This version is made by the glass, but can be modified for a big bowl or pitcher. It's lower in sugar and a slightly healthier alternative to other recipes. If you want to make this with alcohol you could always add vodka, gin, or prosecco.
Cheers!
